Plush Lops are not a recognized breed in the ARBA, but they are just as beautiful as recognized breeds. We started with a buck & doe of Devie D' Anniballe's stock. We successfully had one litter from that orignal pair, with only one buck surviving. It was obvious that something would have to be done or all would be lost. The fur needed improvements in our original pair, so we had to bring in other breeds of rabbits & get busy. Two years later, improvements have been made, but they're still not perfect. We feel that in a couple of more generations, these Plush Lops will be the best in the country!
We think that any rabbitry working with the development of the Velveteen Lop would greatly benefit from adding a Plush Lop to their program.
We would like to show pictures of our stock to show our progress. The look of these rabbits just beg to be cuddled!
