This is our opening page to the different breeds of rabbits that we raise. We enjoy breeding novelty rabbits~ breeds that need improvements & most rabbitries don't raise. Most people don't want just the "recognized" breeds or colors of rabbits. Most people like something "unusual" for a pet. Our focus has turned to Velveteen Lops & Plush Lops. We have made great progress this year on these breeds. We have also worked on the Blue eyed white gene in these rabbits!
We do not offer very many rabbits for sale~ only the best will be available... some for their quality, others for their friendliness. Only bucks will be offered for pets because some does get cranky once they reach breeding age.
We have added a page about how to set up a rabbitry, since we couldn't find any information when we started. We did every WRONG thing before we found what works best. We would like to pass that knowledge on to others.
Please send us an email to farm@mvfarm.org if you are looking for a certain rabbit. We may have it, but never bothered to offer it for sale.
